Required

Extensive
experience in best practice system administration, including system maintenance,
workstation support, Internet connectivity, security services, load
balancing, and back-up procedures.

Extensive
experience troubleshooting network clients and servers.
|
 | Extensive
knowledge of networking standards, protocols, security, troubleshooting, and
performance tuning.
|
 |
Expert
problem-solver. Sorts through complex issues and conducts comparative
analysis of multiple solutions.

 | Easily
assimilates large quantities of complex information under pressure. Ability
to isolate most critical issues and draw accurate conclusions.
|
 | Expert
at analyzing complex functions, procedures, and problems to find creative,
logical, and effective solutions.
|
 | Extensive
working knowledge of operating systems and platforms to include LANs,
software and hardware, programming techniques and database technologies.
|
 | Advanced
Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP or UNIX/Linux user, setup and administration
skills.

 | Excellent
multi-tasking skills. Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks
with minimal direction.

x 7 x 365 uptime requirements. Available to work after hours and weekends,

 | Experience
in hardware provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and
troubleshooting. Expert knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, servers,
workstations, operating systems, and applications.

Preferred
 |
Any one or more of the following
certifications: CISSP, SANS, GAIC, SCNP, SCNA,TISCA, CCSP or CCIE.

 | Experience
developing and implementing strategies for managing security roles,
privileges, and authentication for large user populations.
|
 |
Experience
relaying sensitive information to appropriate parties. Keeps clients,
superiors, peers, and direct reports updated based on their information
needs.
|
 | Experience
with SMTP, IMAP, and POP3. Diagnoses and resolves problems associated with
cross-platform mail. Performs standard mail migrations and monitors mail
gateways and directory exchange functions.
|
 | Optimizes
network design and ensures efficient and secure operation of all network
systems. Expert level WAN and traffic engineering experience.
|
 | Extensive
experience with network maintenance including security services, load
monitoring, system resiliency, back-up, and restore.
|
 | Mastery
of advanced performance tuning and capacity management concepts. |
 | Advanced
Active Directory experience |
 |
|
 | Multi-protocol
networking experience. Knowledge of LAN/WAN internetworking
principles and protocols including TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, SONET, VLAN, ATM, Frame
Relay, and PPP.
|
 | Expert level experience in VoIP or
telephony.
|
 | Demonstrated
experience in the design and monitoring of secure environments for complex networks.
Proven ability to implement technically sound security policies for secure usage,
application development, and host design. Background includes firewalls,
anti-virus, encryption algorithms, security protocols, intrusion detection
and monitoring tools.
